CURE-ND
European alliance to accelerate research on neurodegenerative diseases
DZNE is a founding member of CURE-ND (“Catalysing a United Response in Europe to Neurodegenerative Diseases”) – a European alliance of leading institutes dedicated to research on neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, and ALS. In this strategic partnership, institutions from Germany, France, Belgium, and the UK combine scientific excellence and cutting-edge research infrastructure to accelerate medical innovation in order to shorten the path to effective therapies.
Collaboration takes research to a higher level
CURE-ND is built on the collaboration of four leading institutes and their more than 2,000 researchers:
- Deutsches Zentrum für Neurodegenerative Erkrankungen (DZNE)
- Paris Brain Institute (ICM)
- Mission Lucidity
- UK Dementia Research Institute (UK DRI)
Connecting researchers
Beyond joint research projects, CURE-ND places strong emphasis on conferences and workshops that bring scientists together, such as international events for early career researchers. These activities aim to promote knowledge transfer as well as the exchange of ideas and networking.
