Welcome
The group, which was established in December 2012 and made permanent in September 2019 following a successful evaluation as part of a tenure track program, is an integral part of the research strategy of the site and the research area “clinical research and health care research” in the entire DZNE.
The research group focuses on the development and evaluation of interventions with population impact and their implementation into routine care.
The needs and requirements of those affected and society are recorded and analyzed, which can lead to changes in standard care as well as to changes in the research focus. The subject of research is not only the person suffering from dementia (prevention, intervention, dementia care management), but also the social environment (e.g. relatives), the care system (e.g. intersectoral management), and society (e.g. dementia strategies).
