Areas of investigation/research focus

Prof. Dr. Andrea Kühn is professor for neurology since 2007 and head of the movement disorders and neuromodulation unit at the dept. of Neurology at the Charité  – Universitätsmedizin since 2016.
Her major interests are the treatment and pathophysiology of movement disorders and mechanisms of neuromodulation. Here, she focuses on the role of oscillatory network activity for deep brain stimulation.
Prof. Kühn is participating in the studies MIGAP and DESCRIBE-PSP at the DZNE site Berlin.
