About the Event Series Music & Brain

Music makes us dance and bob along to the beat, it awakens emotions, and even in people with dementia it can bring back hidden memories. In short, the experience of music - and likewise active music-making - stimulates body and mind in a variety of ways. Against this background, the DZNE regularly invites people to "Music & Brain".

This series of events combines chamber music with lectures on brain research and neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer's, Parkinson's and ALS that are easy to understand for the lay public.
