The scientific lecture on “Neuronale Netzwerke des Lernens und des Gedächtnisses” (in German only) will be given by Prof. Dr. Jan Gründemann. Prof. Gründemann is a research group leader at the DZNE in Bonn. His research aims to explain how sensory signals are represented and processed in the brain in order to understand key principles of multisensory integration in the brain. The goal is to uncover the information processing foundations of multisensory integration during learning and behavior in both healthy and diseased brains.
After the lecture, Daniel Christian Dorn (cello) and Ji-Hwan Hong (piano) will perform works by Ludwig van Beethoven and Johannes Brahms.
