The network will kick off with an event that will take place on 18 November 2021 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. via livestream.
Representatives of the ministries, a large number of actors from practice, patients and relatives, scientists and professional societies are expected at the event. In a plenary session on the founding of the network, the needs and expectations of the network, the required structures and processes as well as the content of the network will be presented. Afterwards, impulses will be given in various parallel sessions on the following five research aspects:
(1) Participatory research with people with dementia
(2) Research on the lifeworlds of people with dementia
(3) Transfer between research and care
(4) Merging clinical research and health services research
(5) Prevention and rehabilitation for better brain health
