Since its establishment in 2000, the Hans and Ilse Breuer Foundation has made it its mission to decisively improve the living situation of dementia patients and their relatives.
To this end, the non-profit foundation based in Frankfurt pursues two goals: Helping and researching - with its commitment to helping those affected and promoting basic scientific research into Alzheimer's and other dementia diseases.
Thus, the research of the DZNE has already been supported with the Alzheimer Research Award. With the Alzheimer's Doctoral Scholarship, an exclusive collaboration with the DZNE has been taking place since 2020 and is aimed at both Fundamental Research and Health Care Research.
