Minister Isabell Pfeiffer-Poensgen visits the Bonn DZNE

Ministerial visit to the DZNE in Bonn: On 15 February Isabell Pfeiffer-Poensgen, Minister for Culture and Science in NRW, visited the DZNE on the Venusberg together with Annette Storsberg, State Secretary in the Minister for Culture and Science in NRW. They were welcomed by Prof. Pierluigi Nicotera, Chairman of the Board, and Dr. Sabine Helling-Moegen, Administrative Director. 

Pfeiffer-Poensgen and Storsberg took the opportunity to inform themselves personally about the research of the DZNE and to get to know the new building on the Venusberg. The guided tour included basic research laboratories and the screening facility for drug research, as well as the premises of the clinical trial unit.

Thus, the translational research approach of the DZNE could be directly demonstrated to both of them.
