Hans and Ilse Breuer Foundation announces publication prize 2025 on the subject of dementia
The Hans und Ilse Breuer-Stiftung is once again awarding a publication prize on the topic of dementia. For the fifth time, early career researchers (doctoral or post-doctoral) at DZNE can receive special awards for outstanding publications.
Researchers working in a team at one of the ten DZNE sites are eligible to apply. Original work in the form of articles (papers) with a proven online or print publication date between April 1, 2024 and March 31, 2025 will be considered.
The selection of the winners will be made by a jury of international scientists who do not belong to DZNE. From the entirety of the submitted publications, the jury will draw up a shortlist and a proposal for the ranking of five candidates. Subsequently, the foundation's board of trustees will decide on the winners. The announcement and awarding of the prizes will take place during the 23rd Eibsee Meeting “Cellular Mechanisms of Neurodegeneration” (October 22-24, 2025).
