Communication internal reporting office (§ 14 para. 1 HinSchG)
Communication complaints office (§ 8 LkSG)

The German Center for Neurodegenerative Diseases (DZNE) appointed Compliance Officer Services Legal, the lawyer Stephan Rheinwald, to fulfil the task of the internal reporting office within the meaning of s. 14 (1) of the German Whistleblower Protection Act (Hinweisgeberschutzgesetz, HinSchG).

As part of the compliance management system, the internal reporting office receives information from employees, customers and business partners of the DZNE (whistleblowers) regarding violations of the law and other compliance violations by the DZNE and/or its employees.
All notifications and the identity of whistleblowers are treated in strict confidence. Whistleblowers can remain anonymous if they wish.

The internal reporting office is also entrusted with the task of the complaints office within the meaning of s. 8 of the Supply Chain Due Diligence Act (Lieferkettensorgfaltspflichtengesetz, LkSG) and accepts complaints and notifications of violations of human rights and environmental due diligence obligations by the DZNE or by suppliers of the DZNE.

Incoming notifications are processed in accordance with the DZNE Rules of Procedure for Processing Complaints about Violations of Human Rights and Environmental Due Diligence. The complaints office can be contacted by employees as well as customers, business partners and suppliers of the DZNE.

Notifications/complaints can be submitted in person and by telephone in German and English. It is possible to submit information in text form in all languages.

You can contact the internal reporting office/complaints office using the following details:
