BioMek NXP and Span-8 (Beckman Coulter)

Tip-based liquid handling robotic systems equipped with 8-, 96- and 384-channel pipetting heads for fast plate-to-plate applications. The pipettors can be used for a large range of biological assays, which are performed in fully automated, miniaturized and reproducible way (e.g. sample preparation, compound dilution, immunofluorescence staining etc.). Liquid handlers are fully integrated into the LAT screening platform. The pipettors can be easily customized according to experimental needs, e.g. with automated reservoirs and washing stations, thermo-blocks and shakers, positive positioner for pipetting operations on 1536-well plates, tip washer or tube rack holders. All pipettors are equipped with gripper tool and plate shuttles for fully flexible moving of labware within the deck positions and between different instruments in the screening platform.  Additional Biomek NXP with 96-channel pipetting head is available as stand-alone instruments for sample/plate preparation on larger scale.
