Donations in lieu of gifts – A great idea for many types of events and occasions

Birthdays, weddings and anniversaries – life is full of joyful occasions that we love to celebrate with family and friends. If the only real item on your wish list is (continued) good health, then why not ask the would-be gift-givers at your next party or celebration to skip the presents and flowers and donate to DZNE research instead? If you wish, you can have your guests donate to a project you select. Please contact us if you have any special preferences in this regard.

Here's how it's done:

The easiest way is to include the relevant bank-account number on your invitations and ask your guests to indicate "Special Occasion + Your First and Last Name" in the space for the intended purpose. That will enable us to direct your guests' donations straight to the project you have selected. Please note that we thank each donor personally, and we send you a list of the donors' names and specify the total amount that was donated in connection with your event. As an alternative, you can ask your guests to hand you their donations during your event so that you can then transfer the resulting sum to the DZNE. Important: Please inform us in advance of your donation plans – that way, we can guarantee the relevant processing.
