Three research assistants are assigned to the Speaker, two with an explicit methodological expertise and one in the function of a scientific assistant of the speaker.
Birgit Panke-Kochinke (PD. Dr.) is a historian and sociologist. As an expert for methodological questions in qualitative social science she gives advise to all researchers and she coordinates the project “home care of people with dementia”. Furthermore, she is responsible for the research project SEIN (self perception and intervention), which should lead to the development and evaluation of a modular self-help concept.
Olga Dortmann is a statistician and biometrician (Dipl.-Stat.). She is responsible for the statistical analyzes of data gathered at the DZNE site Witten. She advises all scientific stuff members on choosing the adequate study design and carries out sample size calculations. She is also involved in the development of the data management system at the site in Witten.
Bernd Albers is a nurse and nurse scientist (BScN, MScN). At the DZNE Witten he is the scientific assistant of the speaker. He coordinates and plans the yearly conference and reports. Furthermore, he participates in projects and working groups and is involved in the development of the data management at the site in Witten.
