Dr. Meike Broemer

Curriculum Vitae

Meike Broemer studied Biochemistry at the University of Hannover and Hannover Medical School. For her PhD she moved to the lab of Prof. Claus Scheidereit at the Max-Delbrück-Center for Molecular Medicine in Berlin-Buch. There she worked on the regulation of the NF-kB signalling pathway by the heat shock protein Hsp90 and its co-chaperone Cdc37. In 2006 she started her postdoc position at the Breakthrough Breast Cancer Research Centre at the Institute of Cancer Research in London. In the lab of Prof. Pascal Meier she conducted research on the Ubiquitin-mediated regulation of apoptosis.

She joined the DZNE in 2011 as a group leader.
