Areas of investigation/research focus

The main topics of Frank Jessen’s dementia related research are early disease recognition with focus on neuroimaging and clinical treatment trials.

He is an investigator in the German Study on Aging Cognition and Dementia (AgeCoDe) that focuses on dementia prediction and risk factor identification in a multicenter longitudinal cohort of elderly individuals (n>3000).
